A friend of Brian’s once described him as “an enigma,” because Brian often mixes deep insight with dad jokes. As his presentations on economics were blended with humor, Brian’s professors called him “an economedian.” This is partially why Brian provides consultation services in a wide array of settings. He has various credentials legitimizing his services such as a bachelor's degree in economics, a master's degree in public administration, a National Interpreting Certificate (NIC) in sign language, a Traffic Violator School Instructor License, and he’s a certified wedding officiant. However, what he applies most in his consulting and what he does not have any certifications associated with, is his lived experience of growing up as a child of Deaf parents, experiencing the struggle of poverty, performing in all 50 states in America and seven countries, navigating the grueling business of Hollywood, and reinventing himself many times over.
